Classroom Rules
1. Be respectful and follow District and campus rules (including dress code) - no food or drink in class, no cell phones, iPods, MP3/CD players, PSPs, cameras, etc. If I see it or hear it, it will be picked up and turned in to the business agent. You will be charged $15 to get it back.
2. Arrive on time to class and be seated in your assigned seat when the bell rings. You will be dismissed by me, not the bell. Three tardies/absences merit an office referral.
3. Be prepared. Bring your binder (for notes and homework), paper, & pencils.
4. Be on task during lectures. Raise your hand to ask or answer questions.
5. All work must be original. Cheating will result in loss of grade (zero) for all parties.
6. All work must be done in PENCIL.
7. Always show your work. Points will be taken off and/or assignments returned for not showing work.
8. You are responsible to bring your agenda to each class; no agenda, no restroom break.
9. Always wear student I.D.
10. Homework will be assigned every day. PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT
11. Late or “make-up” work done in tutoring will receive a 75 or lower. When Absent, it is the student’s responsibility to ask for missed work.
12. Quizzes based on homework will be given every day or every other day. STUDY! There will be at least 2 exams per 9 week grading period.
